Vistabule #900 Finds A Home To Call Its Own

Connor Tripp and Caitlin Johnson recently became the owners of Vistabule #900. Though we promise we love all of our trailer children equally, the #100’s are just a little bit special to us as they mark new milestones in Vistabule’s ongoing story. And we knew there was something special about this couple when we first met them at the St Paul RV Show in early 2024. Little did they know that they were going to be taking ownership of #900 a little under a year later.

Their journey to Vistabule is similar in a lot of ways to many of you that own your own Visty or DayTripper. As the camping world has exploded with teardrop trailers, it isn’t hard to come across one in the wild. Connor and Caitlin came across their first teardrop trailer while camping in Rocky Mountain National Park, and were immediately drawn to these unique little trailers. It was in 2023 that they came across Vistabule’s doorstep after an internet search. This inquiry lead them to see one of our trailers in person at the St Paul RV Show. It was here that they met Customer Experience Extraordinairre and VB Employee, David Shomion. The Tripp-Johnson’s were eager to share that, “He’s [David] been so great to work with, and has been very patient with all of our questions.” And of course, if you, dear reader, ever have questions about Vistabule, send David an email at davids@vistabule.com!

Fast forward a little bit to June of 2024 and Connor and Caitlin took advantage of Cook County Teardrop up on Minnesota’s majestic North Shore and rented a Vistabule for the weekend. It was this experience that “sealed the deal” for them as they put it. And now here we are, a little under a month away to 2025, and the owners of Vistabule #900 have already begun making plans to explore many of Minnesota’s incredible State Parks and then head out for an epic National Park tour in the new year, with their dog buddy, Ray, along for the ride! We can’t wait to hear about all your adventures out on the road!

RV vs. Trailer: Which is Best for Your Lifestyle?

When it comes to exploring the world, some choose to take the road less traveled – and two of the more popular options for road warriors include either an motorized RV or a pull-behind trailer.
