Good Times in Arizona
The 3rd Annual Arizona Vistabule Meetup was a great success! We had 13 Vistabules from Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Minnesota! The weather turned out to be cold for Arizona with lows around 30, but the afternoons were beautiful with highs in the low 60s. This casual event was held from January 10-12, 2025, but some attendees came early, and some stayed longer. This was our second meetup to be held at Picacho Peak State Park. It’s an ideal spot right off the highway between Tucson and Phoenix with electric sites and great hiking. The loop setup makes it easy to keep everyone near each other, although we also added a dedicated group hangout site as well.
To stay warm in the evenings we all gathered around two campfires (with color flames!) and enjoyed both old and new friendships. Since Picacho Peak State Park is dark sky registered, Geri brought her super fancy telescope and we were entertained with views of the moon, Neptune and 4 of its moons, Saturn and its rings, and Mars.
With trailer numbers ranging from 105 to 893, our newer members had great opportunities to see modification ideas and learn about useful gear. The kindness of this group to help each other and share their experiences is one of the unknown perks of owning a Vistabule!
Attendees, including one who didn’t even make it to the event, gifted items like stickers, screen printed kitchen towels, and so much good food! Our Vistabule family continues to grow every year and warms our hearts whenever we are able to meet.
