Travis

Position: Assembly Technician

  1. How long have been you working at Vistabule? Feb, 2024
  2. Describe a typical day at work for you. Fun. (editor’s note: Travis’ brevity belies the great addition he has made to our team. He has proven to be a quick study, thanks to his background in construction, and has taken on a wide range of responsibilities in sub-assembly as well as the final stages of each trailer’s construction)
  3. You are a fellow Vistabule owner. What is your favorite thing about owning one? I love the color of my trailer. Yellow. I appreciate the quality. And probably the biggest selling point is the ability to sleep comfortably every night.
  4. What is your favorite memory in your Vistabule? I’d have to say it was during my honeymoon, at Lambs Resort, in Schroeder, MN.
  5. What is your history with the outdoors? Did you camp with your family growing up? Lots of camping, particularly at Webb Lake and along the Namekagon River. And a lifetime of hunting and fishing.
  6. Favorite campground/state park etc.? Split Rock Lighthouse. It was where I had my wedding, right on the shoreline below the lighthouse. Was the location sanctioned? No. Was it worth it? Yes.
  7. Favorite hobbies (besides camping)? I’m always on the hunt for new breweries to try.
  8. What song title best describes you? “Hell In A Bucket” by The Grateful Dead—at least I’m going to enjoy the ride, babe.
  9. If you could combine two or three animals into one Super Animal, what features would it have, and what would you call it? Eagle + Grizzly Bear = Eagle Bear (editor’s suggestion: Grizzgle?) It would have the ability to soar with the clouds and be on the top of the food chain, figuratively and literally.
